ALLERGIC REACTIONS

Most allergic reactions are caused by imported private-label adhesives formulated with lower-grade ingredients and toxic preservatives.

Another reason is the manufacturer of private-label will change raw materials, ratios of ingredients or processing without notification. Unfortunately, the buyer is not informed of changes leading to unexpected sudden allergic reactions or retention issues.

Xtreme Lashes® has control over the manufacturing process. The manufacturer cannot make changes without approval from Xtreme Lashes®.

AFTERCARE

O.T.C.

It’s essential to use aftercare products chemically formulated to be used with the adhesive. A majority of OTC cleansers have detergents too harsh for the eye area and/or dehydrates the eyelashes and the cyanoacrylate used in the adhesive

Garnier Micellar Water. A client uses this product, the retention is not as good as with Xtreme Lashes cleanser, however, this seems to be a good alternative. Micellar water is paraben-free, fragrance-free, sulfate-free and silicone-free.

no!!! MAKEUP WIPES ever

Makeup wipes have solvents that breakdown cyanoacrylate. The propylene glycols dehydrate the cyanoacrylates and eyelashes.

Also, propylene glycols penetrate the skin barrier to the dermis level of the skin, essentially dehydrating skin from inside out. This is why skin begins to look hallow, dry like a lizard or leather like over years of use.

BABY SHAMPOO

Baby shampoo is full of detergents and there has been a study that found the detergents cause Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD).

Baby shampoo dehydrates the eyelashes and the cyanoacrylates in the adhesive. Years ago, hairstylist used baby shampoo to strip color out of hair.
